What one would expect from an entertainer, his skills in entertainment show themselves best when he has an audience to interact with. Though his specialty lies in dancing with the added display of skillful elemental manipulation, his other talents include slight of hand, illusions, visual and verbal storytelling, spoken poetry, and interpretive dancing.

Practice Sessions: Keeping his skills sharp and constantly testing his limits is all part of improving his craft for both his personal enjoyment and that of the crowds that witness him. Thus practice sessions, and the rehearsals for new shows and acts are vital to him being able to put on the best performance he can. For little, or no cost at all patrons are free to observe and attend these sessions whenever they are in progress. Their times are sporadic and not posted publicly due to them being held or done at his own whim, perhaps check with him personally? Or drop by the stage and see if he's there. If I'm not already doing this, your free to ask me in whispers about when I'll be doing the next one. Sometimes I've been known to just go and do them once I have someone interested in observing.
Public Stage Performances: Visually and skillfully complex in nature these performances are the largest and most spectacular shows he can offer a crowd. Though he has many different 'acts' he can perform given the time of year, they all strive to tell an unspoken story through the events of what happens on stage. These events will -always- be posted publicly in advance as well as right here on the website, they are also free of charge to attend unless otherwise posted.
Public "Street Style" Performances: The most spontaneous and whimsical of his performances, they can literally happen at anytime, anywhere, and are strictly for the enjoyment of those who are present and choose to observe. Often directly involving audience participation -anything- can happen depending on how people choose to interact and add to things, though if there isn't much in terms of willing participants then opportunities may be missed. I often drop ques in posts, either by putting questions spoken to the public or specific public interactions in bold. If these are responded to then a performance will begin! If they are not then I will try a second post before merely moving on into regular rp.
Private Performances: Want to hire him to perform for you and your friends? Don't want to bother with the stage but have an idea or desire for something on a smaller and far more personal scale? Just want to enjoy him all to yourself? He is here to serve. From private parties, to the entertainment of friends and business partners this service covers -anything- that doesn't involve a stage, or a large scale crowd. What he does can also be chosen by the client directly and catered to the tastes of those attending, providing that you give him the proper information and time in advance to prepare.- Price is 30

Private Stage Performances: Missed his last performance and want to see it for yourself on your own time? Have a social event, party, or other large gathering that may benefit from having him as an entertainer and performer? If it involves the stage, or a large gathering of individuals then this service is right for you. Much like his smaller scale private performances everything that happens is up to the clients choice so long as proper preparation time, and information is provided. The client can even charge an entrance fee to those wishing to attend if they so desire.- Price is 50 - 100+ depending on the scale, complexity of the performance, and the amount of people in attendance.
- This covers all performances with 20+ people in attendance or anything requiring use of the stage exclusively.
Sometimes when all other options have been exhausted or when the elements are to blame for the suffering of an individual it often falls to a skillful shaman to see things set back into proper balance. Though the more uncommon of the types of services he is often requested for, it is these very instances in which he trains, meditates, and upholds his deep connection to the physical and elemental planes. He is not known to turn away individuals who seek his help, even those who may not be able to afford the cost often associated with these higher practices. Price is based entirely on what is required of him, the amount of energy he will spend performing the task, and how dangerous it is.
The Elemental Plane: It is not uncommon for the spirits to become restless, even angry and unleash their emotions upon individuals who are otherwise unaware of their existence. In many cases this is caused by direct destruction or an invasion into the territory of a spirit, or a colony of them, though many other things can happen when such forces are disturbed. Acting as a mediator he can often speak to and negotiate terms between the spirits, and those involved in creating the disturbance to reach a common ground. He can also be used to soothe the restless and lost - sending them back to where they are supposed to be.
The Spiritual Plane Sometimes a shard of the soul, because it is free to wander when dreaming, or may choose to do so in order to protect the individual from harm will become lost. Or perhaps an individual has found themselves haunted, constantly pursued by ghosts and other apparitions, maybe they merely wish to make peace with a deceased loved one when they had no chance to. Able to communicate with, and bridge the gap between the planes of the living and the dead he is able to see to matters of a more supernatural nature. Being an elemental, and thus separated spiritually from this plane himself there are some instances where the presence of a spiritual medium is needed in addition to his own capabilities.
Healing: Not so much a healing of the body, or the mind, he is only capable of healing the soul or the spirit itself. This is often useful as a method for aiding individuals of whom no mental, or physical treatments have offered results. Or if a curse or other affliction has been attached directly to the soul and spirit itself.
Well educated, able to adapt to the customs and social expectations of their host culture while maintaining their own, and well versed in companionship. Forging 'Relationship' dynamics with individual clients it's not uncommon for an entertainer to see to more personal, emotional based matters, in addition to their main duties. They are however, not prostitutes or whores and will not accept offers of coin for sex. Vael does not often charge for these services, or adjust prices on a sliding scale for those who desire but can otherwise not afford services, as he believes anyone should have access to companionship when they need it. Only clients who have very specific tastes, request him to do things outside of his 'norm', or who want him tailored to their own schedule rather then wait for him to become available will be charged a service fee.
Company: Just what it sounds to be this is merely the act of offering himself for company to those who are interested. Conversation, having someone at your side as you go about your day, someone to enjoy and share experiences with such as various events or perhaps just a meal. This is a wonderful service for those who wish to get to know the peacock, or merely want to become more comfortable with him before moving onto other services.- Price is 5
an hour to hire him for this service. - Payment is expected half up front, and half when finished when the amount of time spent together is pre-determined. Otherwise payment is expected at the end of the day or when the client chooses to dismiss him.
Companionship: Sometimes time, work, the demands of business, or various other factors leave individuals without the time or resources to put into the search of a mate or long term companion. It is in these such circumstances that many turn to individuals such as him to fill that void within their lives until they no longer desire their company, or when they have found someone they wish to have a relationship with. The exact terms of this services are often discussed at the formation of a contract or agreement of hire, and the length of this service is almost always pre-determined. This service is also completely custom tailored to the needs, tastes, and expectations of each individual client while keeping the peacocks consent and personal limitations in mind.- Price is 5
-10 per day depending on the complexity, length of service, and the amount of expectations laid out within the contract. - Violations of the contract, or violations of his consent will result in the immediate termination of the contract and a refund of payment equal to the amount of time still pending on the contract.
Though usually reserved for private readings to aid him in finding his center, or understanding the influences that may be impacting his life. Divination never the less serves as an important tool within the shaman's skill set to help him identify, and overcome obstacles that emerge from time to time. Now, he's come to offer that same service to the patrons of the isle who have an interest in seeing what the cards may reveal for them.
Artistic expression, and a desire to waste nothing that could otherwise be 'born again' int he form of new creations. The shaman offers unique, hand made, one of a kind items to those interested in his crafts. Customized pieces can also be made upon request.
Painted Feathers: Using feathers shed during his molt periods, as well as those he's found intact out in the wilds. They are cleaned, preened, and painted using acrylics into various works of art. Upon completion, the end is tied with leather cord and decorated with beads of carved bone and wood for easy attachment to whatever the customer desires. Example - 2 each
Quills: Made from the same types of feathers used in his painted works. The feathers are painted, the shafts reinforced and fitted with fine point tips, tested to ensure proper use, and then adorned in a leather weave to keep everything in place before final touches are made. Example - 5
With all purchases a business card is given with his contact details on the front and information about their tea on the back. Includes small fortunes or quotes, the name and information about the customers tea choice, ideal steep times, brewing temperatures, as well as how much of the tea to use per 5oz cup if they are making hot or cold versions of their teas. Available by the ounce or in half-pound, or full pound tins for purchase.
All teas are available by the cup hot, cold, or in a milk tea (blended with cold cream and chopped lychee) for free as samples upon request.
Signature Teas
Unique to the shaman himself, these types of teas are only available from his hand.
Rose Tea: Inspired by jasmine teas of the orient he's designed a tea using similar methods but with roses to cater to the more aristocratic population of the Tether. Available in black, white, or green teas depending upon the clients preference it offers a rather unique floral taste and aroma to compliment the natural flavor of the base tea leaves. Due to the amount of roses required for the batches it's a bit of a higher price then most of the other floral teas. Per ounce: 2
Atlantian Dream: Made from leviathan scales crushed into a fine powder and mixed with a tea base of the clients choice, blueberries, and rose petals. It's a sweet drink with a delicate floral aroma that carries into the taste of the tea as well, a feature inspired by jasmine teas, while the taste remains a smooth, even blend of flavors. A single glass will allow the drinker to be able to breathe water for a single 12 hour period, to prolong this effect one needs to simply drink another cup when the effect begins to wear off.
